This pendant has a terrific color to it. The dark stripe makes this piece one of my favorites. The Sterling and gold inlay really attracts attention. These pendants are designed for a casual look for both men and women.

The Wooly Mammoth became extinct after the Ice Age. Their huge tusks are sometimes uncovered in gold mining operations in Alaska. This pendant comes from a tusk that was found just that way. For over 20,000 years, tusks were exposed to the elements and covered with snow, mud, and ice. Eventually the minerals in the soil leached into the ivory, discoloring the ivory and weathering the surface leaving it with a great texture and beautiful patina.
